Mission Statement The staff of the Ava Preschool believes that children learn through play. We practice that belief by allowing children adequate time to develop academic, social, and motor skills. We strive to create and maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment for all children, families, and staff that promotes social and emotional competence as a foundation for developing the whole child.
Home-School Connection Parents are urged to consult with their child’s teacher and should feel free to do so at any time throughout the school year.
Newsletters are sent home regularly to keep you informed on the happenings in our classroom as well as activities hosted by the school. Parents are their children’s first and most influential teachers. We want you to be as involved in our preschool room as you can be. If you need before-school care or after-school care, the Bear’s Den program is available for preschool. If your child needs to attend the before-school care program, a staff member will walk your child to their preschool classroom as scheduled. |
